Process

Slifer Designs takes a wholistic approach to design. We start every project as a clean slate and through the creative process, we curate a design that – no matter the style – is memorable and functional. Our studio follows a standardized design-build process, which makes the project more streamlined and enjoyable for our clients.

Our process is divided into three distinct phases: visioning, design and management. Every client’s needs are unique. With transparency, clear milestones, and accountability our process is designed to earn the trust and confidence it takes to do truly great work.

1.Visioning

Our creative process starts with listening. Once we understand your unique needs and objectives, we move into a visioning presentation to better appreciate the overall feeling and aesthetic for the project with a series of images applicable to the design style.

2.Design

Communication is key. We create the design package with the finish and fixture selections, and fabric and furniture selections. We also produce the specifications and construction documents, which includes floor plans, interior elevations, interior details and 3D renderings.

3.Manage

We engage, collaborate, and manage all the necessary consultants in the design-build process and value our long-standing relationships with architects, general contractors, engineers, and trade professionals. We eliminate the stress of the design build process by coordinating with these consultants; problem-solving and advocating for our clients.

Each project and client are unique. Each Slifer Designs project, from the interior architecture to the decorative styling reflects that.
