Description
The owners merged two properties to create a family compound on Martha’s Vineyard shoreline. The house has an ‘upside-down’ build scheme, with the main living area, master and kitchen upstairs, allowing for breathtaking ocean views. The custom artwork from local artists embraces the ocean vibe. The house has an intimate feel, with a wall of doors that open to the outside. We completed the guest cabin next door a few months later, and the two properties welcome family and friends.

Every room is unique but works together as a whole. We used reclaimed beams for the main level of the house. In the kitchen, we used granite and sandstone for the countertops mixed with driftwood-colored cabinetry.
